Hello, Hope life is treating you well.
How I love working with newborns, especially when I can photograph them within the first two weeks after their birth. I sold a gift certificate (yes I have gift certificates available) for a newborn session that a group of friends bought from me to give as a baby shower gift. What a lovely idea and great gift. The beautiful little girl was 9 days old at the time of the photo session. Her aunt was here from Texas had knitted her a couple hats, a head band, leg warmers and cocoon which were wonderful so she had her own props for the photo session. So I only used a couple of my props, which was great to have something new to work with. I must admit after her photo shoot, I got motivated and I’ve made my own head bands, leg warmers, cocoon and some more hats, I’m ready for the next newborn photo session. Anybody out there have a newborn for me to photograph? ;~D It did take awhile for her to fall asleep before we could start photographing after being fed. As I’ve mentioned before, patience is a must, but it usually rewards you with great photos. With it being an overcast day and having a full wall of windows from floor to ceiling I was able to photograph using the nice soft natural light. When the sun would decide to peek out from behind the clouds, which never lasted very long, I used a diffuser just that moment or two the sun was out, I didn’t want that bright of light on her. It was a great session. Isn’t she sweet?
Thank you for viewing and visiting my blog. Have a great day!
Until next time......
P.S. As always, comments welcomed.
